Familiar Pixar project could be the next LEGO Ideas set

A familiar prop from Pixar history could be the next LEGO Ideas set as Luxo Jr. may be about to transition from digital bricks to physical ones.

As designed by T0BY1KENOBI20506, Disney Pixar’s Luxo Jr Lamp includes a simple but recognisable depiction of the lamp character, as well as surprisingly circular build of the yellow and blue Pixar ball.

Using a presumably low number of bricks compared to most projects, this Disney Pixar project could inspire a smaller LEGO Ideas set. It’s not the first time that Luxo Jr. has been depicted in LEGO after a digital appearance as a model and playable character in LEGO The Incredibles, as showcased by Throneful.

A Pixar model is rumoured for 2024 but nothing has been confirmed at this time. LEGO Ideas already has a Disney set on the way thanks to a recent challenge with five finalists revealed. Here’s every project in the second 2023 LEGO Ideas review so far.
