UK aftermarket price for LEGO Technic 42113 Bell Boeing Osprey settles
The selling price of LEGO Technic 42113 Bell Boeing Osprey, the set that the LEGO Group pulled after sending thousands of products out to retailers, has settled down on aftermarkets in the UK.
After an initial flurry of LEGO Technic 42113 Bell Boeing Osprey sets selling for more than £1,000, the LEGO set that was ‘cancelled’ – despite having already been shipped out to stores – has come down to a price that’s a little closer to its originally intend RRP.
Fans who absolutely must own every LEGO Technic can get 42113 Bell Boeing Osprey for around £600 on ebay in the UK, with almost every set sold in the last week going for around that price. Some have sold for a little more, quite a few have sold for closer to £500.
It’s still nowhere near a low as £129.99 it was supposed to retail for, but given the LEGO Group’s handling of the situation, it was never going to work out well for collectors.
The set was due to launch on August 1, until the LEGO Group annoucned its ‘cancellation’. Thousands of sets were then sold and continued to be sold one week into August, despite the claim that only a few places would sell the product.
